Job description / Role
• Receiving signed requests from Assistant Procurement Manager.
• Sending enquiries to suppliers.
• Evaluating the offers received from various suppliers in the company vendor list.
• Confirming the technical specs with the Project/Technical Team.
• Negotiating prices with the suppliers.
• Verifying and endorsing payment indents; ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained and in line with laid down company policies and procedures.
• Issuing the Purchase orders to the techno – commercially evaluated supplier.
• Updating the vendor’s database and provide inputs for vendor evaluation.
• Providing daily/weekly reports on the number of Purchase Orders issued.
• Assisting and supporting the Procurement Executive and Assistant Procurement Manager in the procurement process.
• Performing any other related duties / projects assigned by the Assistant Procurement Manager from time to time to meet the business needs.
Requirements
Responsible for raising Purchase Order, Making Delivery Schedule,; Supporting the Assistant Procurement Manager in ensuring effective implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
Graduation in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering, 2 – 5 years of experience.
