Job description / Role
Our client, a large FMCG company is looking to hire a Procurement Manager.
Job Description:
• Managing Centralize procurement for the entire group including the Imports for retail Division, Imports and local purchases for the Contracts Division as well as for Restaurants / Pizza Chain.
• Dealing and preparing high quality documentation for Tender and Contracts
• Manage the centralized procurement team of 4 which is individually responsible for procurement for each of the business segment.
• Responsible for Order Placement Timing, Supply / Demand Alignment, Material Replenishment and Supplier Performance.
• Involving in Purchase Budget management.
• Experience of dealing with international suppliers.
• Sourcing and negotiating the most affordable materials according to company Policies, Strategy and system.
• Responsible for working closely with the selected supplier and managing the company’s procurement activities.
• Markets Intelligence / Commodity price analysis and recommend strategic procurement initiatives to save cost.
• Enhance delivery efficiency by reducing lead times.
• Take business development initiatives by recommending the new brands / agencies to the commercial team.
• Mentoring, guiding and coaching of the procurement team.
• Establish and build relationships with suppliers for short & long term.
• Establish KPIs for the team and monitor them to ensure optimum performance.
Requirements
• University Degree Holder
• 7-10 years’ experience in FMCG FOOD (Specifically in UAE Market)
• Excellent Knowledge in Local International Procurement
• Excellent Forecasting & Budgeting, Negotiation Skills
