Procurement Specialist

Job Purpose:

As a Procurement Specialist with Alpha, your primary responsibility is to manage the procurement process for all goods and services required to support the company's operations. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing supplies, equipment, and services to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations. Your role will involve working closely with various internal stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors to meet the company's procurement needs while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

- Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers for timely delivery of goods and services, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Process purchase orders accurately, coordinate with internal teams, and maintain procurement records.
- Analyze market trends to optimize costs and recommend alternative suppliers or products when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, maintain quality standards, and conduct regular audits for supplier adherence.

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field.
- Proven procurement experience, preferably in airline or catering industry.
- Strong understanding of procurement principles, practices, and negotiation.
- Familiarity with sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Knowledge of aviation regulations and catering industry standards beneficial.
