Product Development Manager

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Development Manager to join our team in the logistics and freight forwarding sales industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the product development process, from ideation to execution, and driving the growth and success of our product offerings in the UAE-Dubai market.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the product development process, including market research, ideation, and concept development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and requirements for new product development.
- Develop product roadmaps and drive the execution of product strategies to meet business objectives.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for product enhancements and new offerings.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure successful product launches and go-to-market strategies.
- Manage the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, and oversee product performance and optimization.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in product development processes and methodologies.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the success and impact of new product launches.

Salary:
AED 10,000 to 13,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: commission after sales target

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in product development and management within the logistics and freight forwarding industry.
- Strong understanding of the UAE-Dubai market and customer needs in the logistics and freight forwarding sector.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive product development initiatives from concept to execution.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven track record of successful product launches and driving product growth in competitive markets.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and driving business results through product excellence.
