Product Director

Job description / Role

A fast-growing Logistics Company is looking to hire a Product Director to join their dynamic team based in Dubai, UAE.

As a Product Director, your responsibilities include:
• Build and manage a team of highly-professional Product Developers across the region;
• Establish metrics to measure effectiveness and drive improvements;
• Work with process owners, developing stories and communicating business needs to the developers;
• Lead the development and delivery of innovative, best in class systems that improves work productivity and efficiency;
• Coordinate with the technology and the operations departments to scope system requirements;
• Execute system transformational projects, ensure quality controls, tests and adjustments are carried out as and when needed;
• Manage the life cycle of product, ensure process compliance, manage budgets and the utilization of available resources;
• Manage a risk mitigation strategy while working on incorporating new methods and procedures;
• Manage the overall scope, cost, time, quality, and delivery of new operating systems;
• Understand agile and Development and Operations procedures as well as cloud technologies to meet project deliverables;
• Develop and manage relationships with customers;
• Addressing complaints and resolving problems;

Requirements

• Prefers Master’s/Bachelor’s degree holder of any related field;
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience from the logistics industry;
• Strong organizational, leadership, and management skills;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills;
• Passionate and driven individual
