Job description / Role
We are looking for a person who has experience in ed-tech with a Leading UAE based global organization.
Purpose:
Responsible for bringing product to market, this role will bridge the gap between market research, end user requirements and generating user stories and technical specifications for the development team
The role entails working across functions of the organization to help manage a backlog of features and functions that need prioritization and planning to bring to market
We expect familiarity with Agile approaches to working, scrum master and product owner certifications and experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
Ability to translate market research and user requirements into user journeys is also critical
Requirements
Responsibilities:
• Lead and own the product develop
• Develop principles and application of agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban and Lean Startup within operational guidelines and practices
• Build and maintain user stories and journeys as well as technical specifications
• Understand Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing and create features using it.
• Passionately pursue a vision and articulate it to a wide audience, from team members to Director General level leadership
• Facilitate open discussion and lead evaluation and problem solving creatively and laterally when needed, using appropriate evidence and data to inform product decisions
• Work with researchers and data scientists to discover and understand the needs of users, and to gain a wider perspective of the landscape surrounding activities and policies
• Identify and proactively act on warning signs, facilitating decisive responses to emerging delivery challenges
• Develop and communicate a coherent product roadmap and strategy
• Research market trends to incorporate market insights into the product roadmap
• Advocate needs of users, stakeholders and colleagues
• Liaise with data scientists, development and QA to validate product features in accordance with specifications
• Work with user groups to mine requirements and work across functional teams to help prioritize the product road map
• Build and maintain a repository to structure product requirements
• Ensure proper trace ability, version control and configuration management of all product features
• Report progress and provide metrics on a weekly and monthly level
• Assist with the generation of training manuals and documentation for internal and external stakeholders as required
• Support the Head of Portfolio management at senior level client presentations
