Job description / Role
Our client, a government entity based in UAE is currently looking for a Program Operations Manager.
As directed by the Program Director, provides leadership, program management, coordination as well as to support the control of all the stakeholders and sub-contractors. He will be required to provide support to the Program Operations Lead to manage transition from delivery to operations, maintain and sustain the Program on behalf of the Client. The secondary role of the Program Operations Lead is to coordinate with the Requirements Manager the project initiation, planning and coordination of the (C- Stream project.
Tasks and Responsibilities
• As directed by the Program Operations Lead, assist him to provide Program Management, coordination and control of all the program Stakeholders and sub¬contractors on behalf of the Client in order to deliver a fit-for-purpose, efficient, cost effective services, infrastructure and sub-systems for the program.
• Manage, coordinate project administrative functions for the Alpha Stream and assist in management of the program.
• Plan and support the development of the program Budget forecast and reporting.
• Record and follow up on Capability Working Group actions.
• Provide the Client Program Director and/or authorised Client Sponsor with a Monthly Progress Report.
• Plan and coordinate project definition of C-Stream project.
• Other tasks as directed by the Client.
Requirements
• The Program Operations manager needs to have as a minimum a degree and or a post-graduate qualification in management related subject. The candidate should have with suitable experience as leader of large teams with some Middle East experience.
• It is essential that the candidate has exceptional communication skills in the written form, also has experience working with Military stakeholders. The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years military experience as a commissioned officer with Joint Terminal Attack Controller experience.
Desirable:
• The Program Operations desirable to have a basic Arabic language comprehension. The candidate should have at least 2-3 years Middle East or UAE experience either in project delivery or operational experience.
