Job description / Role
On behalf of our client a UAE based oil and gas company we are looking to recruit a Project Cost Controller. Reporting to the Budget and Reporting Team Lead you will be responsible for performing cost estimating and cost control functions in support of all projects as per the directives, the position plays an active role in monitoring the progress of major projects and provides support to business plan, budget, scheduling, analysis and reporting
Requirements
The successful candidate must be degree educated in engineering, be PMP and/or CCP certified, have 10 years relevant experience in project costing, scheduling, estimating and cost control functions, 5 years oil and gas projects experience with cost estimation and control guidelines, have knowledge of Primavera, SAP/Oracle, Powerpoint and an expert in Excel, familiar with routine cost estimating methods such as QS, MTO, summaries, unit costing, factoring, contingency allotment and total cost validation by analogy
