Project Engineer - Smoke Management System (HVAC)

Job description / Role

- Design, develop, and implement smoke management systems for HVAC systems in various projects
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Perform site inspections and testing to verify the effectiveness of smoke management systems
- Prepare project documentation including drawings, specifications, and reports
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful completion
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the design and installation process
- Coordinate with stakeholders to address any concerns or changes to the smoke management system design
- Stay current on industry trends and best practices related to smoke management systems
- Provide training and support to project team members and clients on smoke management system operation
- Ensure quality control and safety standards are met throughout the project

Requirements

Desired Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Experience in the construction industry, specifically with commercial and industrial projects
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Strong technical skills in HVAC design software and AutoCAD
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Physical ability to perform site inspections and testing
