We are now seeking an exceptional Project Engineer - Wet Utilities to join our award winning team based within our Abu Dhabi Office.


This critical role will be responsible for the design of Potable, Firefighting and Irrigation Networks, steady state, extended period simulation (EPS) and surge analysis, including basic knowledge of pump stations, plans, tender documents, specification, cost estimates, design approvals, design reports, master plan reports, calculations, technical proposals, etc

Requirements

Paramount to success within this varied role will include ;
• Good knowledge of gravity networks is preferable (Sewer and Storm Water Networks)
• Local and regional design standards for wet services
• Must be able to take decisions on design aspects without supervision and to demonstrate ability to improve systems of work
• Must be able to liaise, negotiate and obtain NOCs from Authorities
• Accountable for project delivery on time
• Presenting/discussing/defending design work with Clients/Authorities.
• Knowledge of Surge Analysis is preferable
• Must be able to coordinate with CAD operators
• Proficiency in the following software is required: AutoCAD, WaterGEMS, InfoWater, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
• Knowlegde of the following software is preferable: StormCAD, Windes (microdrainage), Hammer, SewerCAD, Adobe (In-design, Photoshop, etc), Civil 3D, InfoWorks, Visual Basic

• To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 3 - 5 years career experience with aBSc/BEng Civil Engineering as minimum, MEng Civil Engineering desirable.
• Member of a professional institution is preferable. Working towards chartership is desirable
