Project Finance Business Partner

Job description / Role

This position with partner with the CFO and Senior Business Unit heads whilst leading the Project Finance Team to provide insightful analysis, modelling and innovation to all commercial projects and tenders. The role will be responsible for creating a centre of excellence for financial modelling and analysis across the Middle East business units with relation to price risk, tender and project pricing and structuring commercial projects.

Client is a globally renowned name, partnering with some of the most recognisable brands around the world in providing a Tier 1 service and outsourced solutions across multiple disciplines. Their Head Office for the region is based in Dubai.

The successful Project Finance Business Partner will be responsible for, but not limited to:
* Establish and lead a centre of excellence for modelling and financial analysis
* Develop, implement and periodically update terms of reference of the Divisional Project Finance team within the ME Division, including interaction with Bid Management, Business Units, Finance teams and other support functions as well as strategic priorities and deliverables
* Take active role in development and implementation of divisional commercial policy
* Take a lead in development and implementation of best practice in relation to financial modelling, financial analysis and approach to assessing the price risk, taking account of relevant processes and policies of other business units and functions
* Support BUs in financial analysis focused on informing the competitive operating models and value for money proposition to customers
* Provide leadership, support and guidance to the team to enable efficient performance of their objectives and tasks, particularly in delivering pricing solution and associated analysis to bids / other projects
* Develop processes to enable structured approach (and where possible standardisation) to cost inputs, pricing, application of accounting policies and standards and price risk analyses and to provide assurance that all key aspects of margin management are considered for business development projects

Requirements

* UAE Based with a minimum of 3 years of GCC/ Middle East experience
* Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA etc)
* Have a proven track record of working on successful and complex commercial proposals
* Highly skilled, complex financial modelling and analysis experience
* IFRS and SAP experience backed with expert Excel skills
* Successful implementation of new processes
