Job description / Role
Key Responsibilities:
* Enforce safe work practices and that HSE standards are met
* Set up an effective PMO
* Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
* Drive budget, schedule and the overall delivery of the projects
* Works with other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of a project
* Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
* Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
* Understand and assess potential Project risks and ensure mitigation measures are in place
* Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
* Ensuring compliance with regulations, standards and specifications
* Complying with internal policies and procedures
* Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule
* Establishes weekly meeting to review project status and formulate action items

Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field)
* 10+ years of related work experience, including supervisory/managerial experience
* Significant managerial experience of Engineers, Designers, and technical support personnel
* Professional Engineer registration with active membership in a professional engineering society may be required
* Directing work involving complex technical situations
* Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required
* Strong English language skills
* Excellent written and oral communications skills
* Multidisciplinary and multicultural experience,
* Problem solver
* Team player with team management experience
