Project Manager - UAE - PMC

SSA are working with a well established PMC in the UAE to help identify an experienced Project Manager for a large Mixed Use project in the region.

Responsibilities for this positions:
• Ensure the overall Development success of the project
• Maintain efficient and professional Project Control system
• Manage Project Correspondence and contract administration
• Create & Execute Project Execution plan (PEP)
• Manage and chair meetings and provide minutes of meetings
• Check and assist other consultants with approving payment certificates, variations and extensions of times
• Manage the tendering and bid package preparation and proposed packaging strategy
• Pre-qualify and assist in the appointment of contractors and consultants
• Coordinate the consultants in the preparation of Request Fee Proposals (RFP) and Invitation to Tender (ITT)
• Coordinate tender openings to ensure proper compliance with company audit policy
• Analyze all tenders received and complete tender assessment with recommendation on most appropriate tenderer
• Prepare Request For Management Decision (RFMD) for various tender and procurement decisions

Requirements

• Experienced Project Manager with 8-10 years’ experience
• Ideal candidate will be a QS from a PM or Contracts background used to writing SOW's, RFPs, Contracts, Tender Analysis, etc.;
• Project experience in hotel / residential / community mixed use projects;
• Western Expat Educated
• Five+ years’ experience in Middle East (UAE preferred);
• Salary expectation is AED 35k-40k
• Required to start end March
