A multinational shipping company is looking to hire a Project Manager for their operations in Dubai, UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
-Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
-Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support organizational goals and objectives
-Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
-Provide analytical and functional support to work stream leaders as required including drawing upon previous experience in Project Management and/or industry situations
-Counsel and guide the activity work stream leads, proactively identify areas of underperformance and initiate corrective actions where required
-Conduct root cause analysis and establish reasons for variances in performance compared to expectations including financial performance, operating performance, process issues, etc.
-Support overall governance of the Projects, including monitoring and alignment of activities across work streams to ensure maximum efficiency of the Project execution
Requirements
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an internationally accredited university, in Project Management is a distinct advantage
-Minimum 6 years of overall work experience out of which 2 years in the transportation, shipping, logistics sector for Transformation Project.
-Experience in consulting (external or internal) and project management
-Experience in container liner shipping is a distinct advantage
-Gulf experience is a distinct advantage
Language Proficiency:
-Fluent written and spoken English
-Fluent written and spoken Arabic is a distinct advantage
