Project Manager - Civil Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager - Civil Engineer to join our construction and contracting team in UAE. The successful candidate should have hands-on work experience in projects of high-rising towers in UAE, and will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulations and standards.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee construction projects, including setting project timelines, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Coordinate and collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure all aspects of the project are on track
- Manage and mentor project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure project goals and objectives are met
- Ensure compliance with all construction and building regulations, as well as health and safety standards
- Monitor and report on project progress, including identifying and addressing any issues or delays
- Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and senior management to provide updates and address any concerns or changes in project scope
- Prepare and present regular project status reports and financial forecasts

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on civil engineering projects
- In-depth knowledge of construction and engineering principles, as well as relevant regulations and quality standards
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams to success
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders
- Solid understanding of project management software and tools, Primavera, as well as proficiency in MS Office and project scheduling software
- Ability to work well under pressure and make critical decisions to keep projects on track
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results
