Project Manager - Dredging

Job description / Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee dredging projects in the marine industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of dredging projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards. The role will be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver successful dredging projects in the marine sector.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and finalize dredging projects according to strict deadlines and within budget
- Manage and oversee all aspects of dredging operations, including equipment deployment, resource allocation, and site management
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and health and safety standards during dredging operations
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of dredging projects
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans
- Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or related field; Master's degree is a plus
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the dredging or marine industry
- In-depth knowledge of dredging operations, techniques, and equipment
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations and health and safety standards in marine construction
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- PMP or Prince2 certification is a plus
