Project Manager (Residential Projects)

Job description / Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager with a robust background on site, particularly in residential projects, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery within budget, schedule, and quality parameters while adhering to safety regulations and client expectations.

Position: Project Manager (Residential Projects)

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation.
• Oversee the execution of construction activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and take proactive measures to address any deviations or obstacles.

Stakeholder Management:
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Address stakeholders' concerns and provide timely updates on project status.

Cost and Budget Management:
• Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring cost control measures are implemented.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative solutions to optimize project budget allocation.

Risk Management:
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project objectives.
• Proactively manage project risks, including issues related to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:
• Ensure construction activities comply with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
• Implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of workmanship and project deliverables.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):
• Champion a culture of safety and environmental responsibility on-site, implementing HSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and promote a safe working environment.

Requirements

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in residential construction projects, preferably in Abu Dhabi or the UAE region.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
• PMP or similar certification is desirable.
• Familiarity with local regulations, building codes, and permitting processes in Abu Dhabi, Dubai
• Experience working on client side or PMC would be essential.
