Summary of the role:
Key interface role between the client’s and leading distributor with regards to promotional and supply chain activities that impact the client’s restaurants within Middle East
Position Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
• Ensure alignment of information to ensure all stakeholders have up to date promotional information
• Continuous improvement on communication initiatives that streamline communication to all stakeholders
• Influence execution strategies for promotional products
• Represent the Organization at the Client’s promotion forums
• Provide expertise to the Client on promotion forecast, distribution and the optimum most cost effective execution
• Support Inventory Control team in documentation approvals from the Client including validation of content accuracy
• On occasion do supply planning for specific promotional products in consultation with Manager
• Proactively provide recommendations on alternative approaches to mitigate disruptions in supply
• Provide post promotional information to the Client to capture key learnings’
• Act as a key point for escalation to communicate any disruption to assure supply on promotional products together with
mitigation strategies through consultation with the supply planning work stream.
• Provide leadership in all areas of Supply Chain Solutions as required
• Proactively identify opportunities for cost savings and system benefits to the Client.
• Support cross-functional initiatives that improve Orgainization service to the Client.
• Communicate with Inventory team and DC replenishment team on promotion performances as required
• Represent the Organization as a leader in promotions management
• Continuously review current processes to reduce supply chain costs and increase customer service levels through the
use of lean principle.
Requirements

• Exceptional planning and organizational skills
• Strong demonstration of critical thinking and logic skills with a proven track record of success in a complex operational
environment
• Comfortable with change management
• Detail orientated and results focused
• Knowledge of GCC import/export laws
• Knowledge of GCC import documentation requirements
• New product development (English/Arabic Label)
• Knowledge of shipping industry
• Understanding of demand forecasting
• Strong analytical skills
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics or related field
• 3 yrs. experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting within a complex environment FMCG or distribution
experience required, food industry related experience highly desirable
• Excellent at customer engagement
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and team skills
• MS Office Skills Cross-functional understanding
