Job description / Role

Employment: Contract

Overview:
This role holder will be responsible for overseeing and managing the execution of manufacturing projects from conception to completion. It involves preparation of offers & quotations, coordinating with cross-functional teams, implementing efficient coordination with factories, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects within budget and timeline constraints. This role holder will play a critical role in optimizing production efficiency, improving product quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Responsibilities:
• Proposal: Preparation of quotations in coordination with factories.
• Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects, ensuring adherence to project objectives, timelines, and budgets.
• Site visits: Conduct site visits of projects and be present during receiving of materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including factories’ design, production, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless project integration and successful outcomes.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, identify critical path activities, and proactively address potential bottlenecks or risks.
• Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
• Awareness of commercial documents invoice, LC, BG etc.
• Participate in meetings with customers.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement.
• Lead or participate in cross-functional improvement projects, applying tools such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, fostering innovation, and encouraging employee involvement in problem-solving and process enhancement.

Requirements

Ideal candidate will have:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (Electrical, Mechanical or similar).
• Driving license valid for driving in UAE
• Site visits (construction / power plant / industries / substation)
• At least 5 years of work experience (Transformer industry is a plus)
• Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
• Work experience in project management, handling various projects in the Middle East is a plus (preferably Transformers projects)
• MS Office software knowledge: excel, word, ppt etc.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
