Job description / Role
• Prepares and submits application with supporting documents to various Government departments concerned and follows progress of formalities until completion. Collects and returns passports and documents to individual concerned upon completion of required action and collects signed receipts for such documents.
• Maintains records of documents relating to visas and work permits being processed through the Government departments. Updates files upon renewal and maintains required documentation and authorization copies. Also collects government issued information regarding rules and regulations and informs supervisor of the nature of such changes and their procedural impact.
• Works closely with Ministry of Labour in order to help in renewal of Labour Cards, clearances and legalization of service agreements. In addition, intervening to resolve problems on behalf of the Group in clearing any documents.
• Prepares and submits application and supporting documents to Government Department to cancel residence permits where required.
• Submits applications for such items as phone and GSM needs.
• Follows established procedures to protect passports and other confidential documents such as identity cards and labour cards due for renewal.
• Liaises with corporate HR in the company as required.
• Liaises closely with local police regarding driving licenses, vehicle registration, accident or incidents and intervening to resolve problems on behalf of employees and the Company.
• Undertakes payments of any electricity, water, telephone and internet bills on behalf of the Group where required.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations or Business Administration or its equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years’ in the same role
• Emirati Nationality is required.
• Flexible and can work on extended hours.
