Job description / Role
The PR Section Head manages relationships with local, regional and international media channels and press, and responds to media inquiries
Key Responsibilities:
• Acts as a point of contact for press operations and broadcasters to drive viewership and coverage of the Games
• Manages relationships with local, regional and international media channels and press, and responds to media inquiries
• Establishes and manages media-related activities (e.g., broadcast, press coverage) to drive viewership of the Games
• Prepares media resource requests (e.g., media kit, releases, media conference)
• Provides periodic reports to the Media Relations Manager regarding agreed upon KPIs and overall performance of the public relations function and highlight issues for consideration
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in Business Administration, Marketing or related field is required
Languages:
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required
• 7+ years of post-degree relevant PR experience is recommended
