Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• The business development coordinator is a newly formed role that entails tasks and processes to develop and implement growth opportunities for the firm and streamline commercial initiative. This includes developing commercial and technical proposal material, in response to prospective client's requests. The business development team works in parallel with both the consulting staff and the administrative team to deliver tailored proposals in a timely manner as required.
• You will be responsible for project managing the proposal process including initial research & analysis and developing content in the required format for the proposal.
• You will be expected to develop a level of expertise and build / organize / maintain a knowledge base of reusable materials.
• In addition, the function is responsible for monitoring and analysing the prospective business pipeline for their practice area including data collection on client requests and bid outcomes. The function will support the practice area leadership as required.
• You will have a consulting adjacent role that is part of the firms business support team.

We are looking for a candidate that has experience:

• Project managing the delivery of the proposal from understanding client requirements to translating requirements into content pieces that are either readily available within our knowledge base or else are new content that must be developed for the proposal
• Collecting all pieces of content into a proposal package that has a consistent look and feel expected for all content
• With the support of consulting staff, developing content that is not available in our knowledge function
• Ensure on-time delivery of all proposals entrusted to the team
• Collecting and analyzing outcome data for all proposals that are processed

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Near native English corporate communication skills
• Currently based in Dubai
• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years relevant work experience in the public sector
• Experience with delivering within proposal/tendering processes in general
• Comfort with data analysis and data modelling is necessary to develop content pieces
• Self-driven, works well in teams, ability to work with tight deadlines
• Comprehensive knowledge of office IT software packages is a must
