Job description / Role
• Leads sourcing effort in designated sourcing area of Central Asian States;
• Employs effective sourcing techniques in identifying reliable sources;
• Arranges and attends suppliers conferences;
• Reviews and assigns tasks to subordinates based on complexity of the requirements;
• Monitors the bid process using proper in-house defined systems;
• Provides guidelines to purchasing specialists/senior purchasing specialists through the solicitation process;
• Assists to the purchasing specialists/senior purchasing specialists with regards to the technical features of the products by liaising with subject matter experts or QA department as necessary;
• Evaluates bids and recommends best value propositions to the clients;
• Conducts due diligence on potential suppliers;
• Engages in establishing and maintaining strategic business relationship with suppliers;
• Uses software applications, ERP and established reporting tools in order to effectively manage tasks and monitor their progress
• Ensures proper time management and prioritization of tasks;
• Complies with Code of Business Ethics and Conduct
Requirements
MUST BE RUSSIAN SPEAKING
I am currently looking for a Purchasing supervisor who is fluent in Russian.
• University degree in business related discipline;
• Recognized Certification in Supply Chain;
• 5 + years of experience in Procurement/Supply Chain Management ;
• Knowledge of the Central Asia local markets ;
• Proven track record of identifying reliable sources through various sourcing techniques;
• Detailed and process oriented;
• Personal commitment and persistence in achieving results;
• Advanced understanding of best practices and culture in the Central Asia local markets;
• Team player and strong work ethics and ability to handle stress and work in fast paced environment
• Fluent English,
• Must have fluent Russian
• Project management skills to manage multiple tasks concurrently
• Profound negotiation skills
• Develops relationship with and understand the needs of customers, both internal and external
• Motivates others to translate ideas into actions and results
• Effectively uses reporting tools to prioritize and manage work
• Seeks and accepts changes to establish norms to improve processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Treats peers, subordinate, superiors with respect
• Excellent written and verbal English and Russian communication
