QA Analyst

Job description / Role

Founded in 2005, it is now used by over 4 million individuals and 6,000 companies. To support our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced QA Analyst to join our team in Dubai.

Reporting to the Development Team Lead, the role plays a key part in maintaining and enhancing the companys online platform and products.

Key responsibilities will include:

Taking ownership of developing and executing performance tests against new and existing product features plus the system as a whole
Designing and implementing testing scenarios, cases and test scripts
Utilising a variety of testing tools to enhance testing efficiency
Manual testing as needed, including elements of user interface
Assessing user, functional and technical requirements and documentation
Proactive identification of potential performance issues and timely introduction of new benchmark tools
Effectively working with Developers and Business Analysts to meet deliverable deadlines for various projects
Working with Developers to enhance the development process through more structured and systematic use of testing scenarios in development

Requirements

Essential

Demonstrable 3 years experience in testing and supporting product development processes front-to-back
Ability to work autonomously, with ingenuity and to display strong organisational qualities
Ability to work well under pressure and be comfortable dealing with a range of stakeholders at varying seniorities
An ongoing commitment to providing a market-leading service for our international community
Degree from a leading university, preferably in the field of Computer Science, but other subjects will also be considered

Desirable

Experience from another web-based business
Experience with Selenium
