QC Inspector

Job description / Role

• QC Inspections and certification of the outgoing goods in accordance with the customer order and or with the applicable standards of industry.
• Coordinate with Operations staff for the QC related tasks of in-house/on-site projects.
• Proof load test and certification of the machineries/ lifting appliances in customer orders as and when required.
• Liaise with manufacturers/ suppliers for the product certificates for the projects and for the stock purchases.
• Managing certificate files of stock items in both soft and hard copy modes as advised by the management system.
• Record keeping and timely archiving of all QC related documents for the day by day operations and projects.
• Responsible for the calibration and certification of all measuring equipment and record keeping of the same.
• Handle and perform the QCP as and when required by the projects.
• Perform QC inspections for the stock items upon receipt as and when advised by the management.
• Coordinate with third party representatives/organizations for project related QC requirements.
• Accountable for the timely inspection and certification of the relevant in-house equipment.
• Other added responsibilities or involvements as advised by the management as required by the project/ operational requirements or for the improved performance of the management system.

Salary:
AED 4,000 to 6,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Rigging/Mooring/Lifting Industry
• Background in NDT, TDI, inspection services will be an advantage
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information;
• Knowledge off MS Office programs and e-mail at highly proficient level;
• Fluent in English.
