Job description / Role
Our Client is a leading international construction company who are recruiting for the position of Estimator/ Quantity Surveyor within their Branch Office Building Section.
Responsibilities:
• The preparation of Bills and Schedules of Quantities of materials, labour and services required in the construction and equipment of building, or engineering works by Tender Team
• Undertake cost analysis for project work
• Perform risk, value management and cost control
• Advise on a procurement strategy
• Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks
• Prepare and analyse costings for tenders
• Allocate work to subcontractors
• Provide advice on contractual claims
• Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports
• Maintain awareness of the different building contracts in current use.
Salary:
AED
15,000 to 25,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Requirements
• At least 10 years experience within Quantity Surveying and at least x5 within an estimating type role;
• The ability to take-off and breakdown Concrete Works, Wet works, etc
• Must have experience of Candy and Planswift Software 3+ years
• Experienced in Branch Office not in office site construction
