Job description / Role
As a Quality and Risk Manager, you will be driving excellence in quality and risk management within the automotive industry through proactive processes and strategic collaboration.
Responsibilities:
* Establish, implement, and maintain Quality Management System processes.
* Coordinate the development of Client's Quality Management System.
* Safeguard company third-party accreditations (ISO 9001, AS 4801, ISO 14001).
* Maintain a company quality management system, ensuring regular review and updates.
* Develop and implement regular quality & assurance audit processes.
* Conduct regular quality and assurance audits to identify gaps and remediation activities.
* Maintain comprehensive registers of processes, assessments/audits, and remediation plans.
* Work with functional departments to ensure agreed action plans are followed up.
* Implement group-wide policies, ensuring effective communication and training.
* Collaborate with HR to deliver comprehensive training on Governance, Compliance & Risk, fostering a culture of awareness.
Requirements:
Experience:
* Previous experience of a minimum 3 years in a similar role within the automotive industry.
* Proven experience in implementing and maintaining Quality Management System processes.
* Familiarity with obtaining and maintaining third-party accreditations (ISO 9001, AS 4801, ISO 14001).
* Strong background in conducting quality and assurance audits, identifying risks, and coordinating remediation measures.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to the industry.
* Experience in managing business continuity plans and risk management processes.
* Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate risks and recommend mitigation measures.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
