Job description / Role
Report to the QA/QC Manager and monitor all activities related to Quality.
Assist and/or prepare Project Quality Plan
Define engineering deliverables and provides QA/QC inputs to the scope of the Work.
Guide & direct the Site Engineer to ensure that all deliverables fully reflect QA/QC requirements set forth by the Client/Engineer.
Lead the development and implementation of the Quality Management System, Quality and Technical integrity assurance framework and the establishment of the verification assurance audit program for the project.
Perform all daily inspection and test of the scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and specifications for all works performed at site.
Cary out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures at the site and to ensures activity at the site are as per approved method statement and inspection test plan.
Coordinate with the Engineer and Site Engineer for inspection and meeting about quality problems including the closure of Non-Compliance Report.
Responsible for the closure of Non-conformance, NCR and Site Instruction.
Responsible on the QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents.
Responsible for the quality and workmanship of every activity, thorough knowledge of all phases of engineering construction relating to Civil, Architectural and Structural discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary operations.
Develop method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project.
Liaise the Technical Engineer for submission of material submittals to Consultant.
Requirements
B.Sc in Civil Engineering/Architecture
5-10 Yrs. GCC Experience
2 Yrs. as a QA/QC Engineer in Construction field
Well versed in MS Office and Autocad
Arabic Speaking is an advantage
Knowledgeable in ISO 9001 System
