We are currently supporting one of our clients who is looking for a driven self-starter to join a growing team.

The Role

• This role works closely with several highly specialized teams, under the direction of the Senior Client Operations Manager.
• The Quality Control Officer is the manager of a small team of 4 - 5 personnel dedicated to ensuring that training content is delivered accurately and effectively to the client in accordance with the Systems Approach to Training (SAT) model.
• This includes supervising the specialized SAT team in converting current curriculum materials to SAT formats; evaluating all trainers, mentors and interpreters against agreed training delivery standards; and providing gap training for generalist areas such as use of client LMS, improved instructional methods, use of interpreters and effective assessments.
• In this role, the Quality Control and Training Officer will oversee the establishment of an effective onsite version control system for curriculum and evaluations and enforce adherence to this by all personnel.
• Finally, the Quality Control and Training Officer will coordinate the continuous development cycle for each training program and act as the permanent onsite liaison representative in resolving any issues identified at the end of each training cycle.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications,

• 5+ years of personnel management of small teams
• University degree or higher in a relevant discipline
• Proven track record working with a multi-national workforce

Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control disciplines within training delivery contexts
• Commissioned military officer OR Executive level equivalent in federal level government agency or department
• Proven track record in MENA, working closely with local counterparts
• Qualifications or proven work experience in implementing Systems Approach to Training standards to training curriculum
• Willing to be personally active in identifying and resolving problems
• Experience in the definition and application of training standards and processes
• High capacity for multi-tasking, critical thinking and problem solving
• Excellent conflict management and decision-making skills in a fast and dynamic environment
• Willing to work as a team player in a multi-faceted, multi-cultural and multi-language environment
• Dynamic and collaborative leadership style
• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
• Advanced level of skills using Microsoft Office
