Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor - Hotels, UAE

Large international consultancy is looking to recruit a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with extensive experience working on hotels or other hospitality related projects. Our client is globally recognized consultancy firm and is involved in high value projects internationally.

Main responsibilities:
- Liaise and report to the Senior Quantity Surveying and Procurement Department
- Review current tender submission requirements and communicate effectively to keep Senior QS up-to-date on project submission status whilst also tracking and resolving issues
- Prepare project cash-flow forecasts and update periodically;
- Assist in the process of Sub-contractor re-measurement, on a project by project basis
- Lead by example in cooperating with all of the policies and procedures throughout the company to enhance best practice culture
- Assist in resolving disputes between contracting parties
- Perform Other Duties and Projects as assigned

Requirements

- Must be degree qualified: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying is essential
- Must be chartered: MRICS or equivalent
- Pre/post experience is essential
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience
- Hotel/hospitality experience is a must
- Able to monitor budgets and prepare bill of quantities
