Quantity Surveyor

Job description / Role

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the MEP industry in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct cost and risk analysis for MEP construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment
- Prepare and submit estimates, budgets, and cost plans for the projects
- Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Monitor and control project costs and cash flow, and prepare regular cost reports
- Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents and contracts

Salary:
AED 5,000 to 8,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the MEP industry
- Sound knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and project management
- Proficiency in using relevant software for cost estimation and project management
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
