Job description / Role
A leading international law firm is seeking a qualified HR Manager in a regional position situated in the Dubai office.
Managing an HR Assisting and reporting to the COO and HR Director, you will be responsible for the following HR practices:
- Manage the recruitment, on-boarding, training, and mobility practices across the region;
- Maintain knowledge of local and UK employment law, firm policy,
- Coordinate coverage for employee leave, facilitate client secondment process;
- Liaising with the Learning & Development teams and the Diversity & Inclusion teams to advise on best practice and ensure agreed programmes are enacted;
- Implementing regular appraisals, mentoring schemes and internships,;
- Coordinating healthcare schemes with local suppliers and in line with the London HQ benefits team;
- Work closely with finance teams to manage HR budget and expenditure;
- Ensure all employee HR files are up-kept, monthly reports are produced;
- Regularly attend regional offices to maintain HR presence.
Requirements
Listed below are the minimum expectations for technical skills, experience and qualifications which individuals need to meet in order to perform their role:
- Demonstrated experience in a law firm at HR Advisor or Manager level;
- GCIPD graduate or equivilant qualifications;
- Excellent project management, people management, communication, written, numeracy, and organisational skills;
- Knowledge of local and UK employment legislation and HR best practices;
- Professionally presented with the ability to influence stakeholders;
- Passionate about culture and team work.
