Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a multi-national services company, active all around the world who is looking to hire a regional HSE Manager to join their expanding team. A fantastic opportunity to join a thriving business in a role that has become available due to a large expansion within the region.
Your main role is to provide advice and guidance at regional/divisional level and effectively manage a team of professionals and/or subject matter experts within HSE. Other responsibilities may include interfacing with corporate level management.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a minimum 5 years of experience in health and safety with relevant certifications and preferably a logistics background. You should be analytical, be skilled in influencing and persuading, judgment and decision making, planning and organising as well as people management. You should have working knowledge of H&S best practices along with developing H&S policy and processes. In addition, you should have a good understanding of the macro business environment and a valid drivers license.
