Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

As a crucial member of the sales operations team, you will execute the Special Price Approval Process, conduct Profitability Analysis on large projects/opportunities, analyse and report on discounting and special pricing trends, work with sales to validate end customers, validate competitor's pricing to ensure discounting is justified. Maintain spreadsheets and databases with end customer information and competitor pricing

- Such activities will include Special Price Requests (quotes) Reviews, Approval Escalation to P&L Owners, Deal Validation, Reviews; Data compilation from various db sources and processing the standard progress reports (CPQ, inSight Dashboard and Query reports, Excel pivot tables, Pareto tables, Charts and Diagrams etc.), on Price Execution Process within APJ with particular focus on the price performance, pricing/discount/margin trends, follow up of SE Policies on Special Price approval (SPA), Delegation of Authority (DOA) and Compliance (Cross border sales, Anti Gray marketing Policy).
- Work closely with Global and APJ pricing teams to manage grey marketing. Assist in Deal/Quote Profitability Analysis, Global Deal Pricing Proposal preparation, OEM Pricing, and Quote Approval escalation to DOA Approvers.
- Works closely with Sales Staff, ISRs to ensure all the Opportunity & Quote related information (tender docs, e.g. RFP, Tech Specs, end user / contact person identification, shipments review for individual revisions of large volume and/or long term quotes) are available in a timely manner to minimize time needed from submittal to complete approval of a quote.
- Escalates non compliant quotes to Senior Management.
- Performs CRM (bFO, CPQ) data quality Analysis and liaise with Sales Management & staff to ensure high quality precision of data in order to achieve high fidelity of reports.
- Performs Price/Qty Analysis of potential sources, and co-works with OM, Channel Management in the identification of and the elimination of gray marketing and special price abuse.
- Manages data collection of serial numbers from Warehouse and collaborates with LOBs, Pricing and Logistics teams globally to ensure data is shared and analysed.
- Ensures all relevant administrative duties are carried out as required, e.g. filing Bid and Project documents, dispatching MAF documents, keeping up Market Protection (anti gray) Notice records, etc.

Secondary Function:
- Assists in the Quotes on-process training and daily sales support.
- Proposes changes and improvements to the process managed by this position
- Assists in the design and development of new templates for report standards, and working procedures.
- Ensures all relevant administrative duties are carried out as required, e.g. filing Bid and Project documents, dispatching MAF documents, tracing suspicious orders etc.
- Assists in the adoption of process changes, and new processes implementation within the scope of Sales Operations Team.
- Scope and Size Assists in the Quotes on-process training and daily sales support.
- Proposes changes and improvements to the process managed by this position

Requirements

- University Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or equivalent. Bachelor Degree minimum
- Min 3+ years Sales experience within IT/ET sector or price or business management is a plus
- High competence within company databases and systems, MS Applications, understanding of OBIEE queries, reporting tools, and work with databases.
- Good HBN product knowledge and networking within the SE Country organization is essential.
- A good understanding of the IT Division go-to-market model and the dynamics within the channel model preferred.
- Ability to plan and organize in a complex environment subject to ongoing change is essential.
- Must be able to work on own initiative but integrate effectively into teams.
- Basic skills and experience in people management.
- Advanced skills MICROSOFT EXCEL usage and the ability to analyze data and create outstanding reports.
- Excellent verbal, written/oral communication skills.
