Regional Sourcing Manager

Job description / Role

- Identifying and contracting main fertilizer producers in MENA(Middle East / North Africa)
- Collecting market information, Report to HQ, Analyzing market trend
- Generating reports about specific producer’s situation (price, stock, line up, etc) by communicating with counter-parties
- Traveling to continuously develop new business
- The performance will be measured by the (1) sourcing volume of the year (compared to the target sourcing volume which had been set up in the previous year), and (2) the profit produced by the person by competitive sourcing
- And also, the every-day-related-office-work should be done by the person in Samsung's performance standard

Requirements

- Suitable candidate for working in the local region
- Holding a university degree in business / related field
- About 10 years’ experience with fertilizers trading company (International or local company in MENA)
- Local / regional / international fertilizers market knowledge
- Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility to work in a fast-spaced multicultural environment
- Attention to detail to be able to follow up with clients and meet targets
- Strong business competency of English required, Arabic optional
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships
- Interested in pursuing a career in a pioneering spirit company
