Position Summary

The Regulatory Affairs officer will assist to assure the advocacy activities including but not limited to regulation preparation, comparison of old and new regulations and prepare a report of the finding. ensure registration process is taking place of all local and imported products by preparing registration list, submission and support RSA BP in documentation. They will follows up with RSA/BP, local RSA and authorities when needed to ensure smooth route to market.

A day in the life of

- Comparison and review of old and new regulations and prepare a report of the finding
- Ensure the registration process is taking place of all local and imported products by preparing registration list, submission and support RSA BP in documentation
- Speeding the launch of innovative products with claims on Nutrition, Health and Wellness including registration in all the markets & meetings with the authorities, customize the regulatory dossier
- Support in updating and creation of the product briefs
- Develop and maintain a solid knowledge of local regulations in all topics related to Nestle products
- Shape the regulatory environment by Influencing new regulations
- Technical Translation Arabic /English for urgent request
- Attends some of the important meetings related to the regulations after the approval of the Head of Corporate Regulatory Affairs
- Early warning: probe for any trend or regulation in the pipeline that may affect the Company's products or processes
- Provide Regulatory Support for the local co-packer/ factory activities that requires meeting with the authorities or providing regulatory information or support

Requirements

What will make you successful

- Bachelor of Science in Food Technology, Nutrition or any related Field
- Minimum 1 year experience in regulatory related activities, previous experience in regulatory or governmental relations is a plus
- MUST speak, read and write in both English and Arabic
- Developed communication skills
- Strong ability to work both independently and within a team
- Capable of technical writing and reports preparation
- High level of personal integrity
- Demonstrated leading and influencing skills in a previous job
- Full time, contract role for 1 year (extendable)
- Preferred Bachelor of Science degree such as Food Technology, Pharmaceutical, or Chemistry
