Mediclinic Middle East are looking to hire a Relocation Officer to join our corporate HR team as part of the recruitment function. We hire many overseas physicians and administration professionals, and we require someone to support with these international moves from within our organisation.

While the role is based in Dubai, this is a UAE wide position and the successful candidate will need to be familiar with Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.

The role will involve:
• Booking flights and accommodation for staff and family for their initial stay in the UAE. This maybe with hotels or in company accommodation.
• Building relationships with UAE hotel groups and travel agencies will be a key part of this process.
• Marhaba/ Meet and Greet bookings- ensure a smooth entry into the UAE.
• Proving a relocation pack/ welcome pack to new staff, detailing all the local amenities and covering all basic needs.
• Housing assistance: long-term- advising staff on where to live based on their family situation, recommending real estate agents and providing information on how this all works.
• Schools- advice: knowledge of the schools, the different education options available for all nationalities.
• Banking and finance- arrange meeting with banks to set up accounts and secure funding and loans when required.
• Driving license & Car- rental and buying, how to do this in the UAE.
• Shipping services: recommendations for good prices.
• Pet relocation advice: companies to use.

The candidate on-boarding process is very important to Mediclinic, and the ideal candidate will be able to provide an added extra service to ensure this is as easy for new joiners as possible.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for the role of Relocation Officer will be working for a UAE based relocations company, have in-depth knowledge of the process of relocation from various countries globally to the UAE and have a wealth of connections for local services already.

Key skills:
• Communication- the successful candidate will be required to communicate directly with new joiners to ensure a professional service.
• Build relationships- able to create a network and build relationships with key service providers across the UAE.
• UAE country knowledge.
• Overall understanding of overseas recruitment process.
