Position Title: Research and Development Specialist
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: up to 10K AED all-inclusive depending on experience and qualifications

About the Client:
A fast-growing quick service restaurant in the UAE

Job Description:
• Responsible and accountable for all R&D initiatives, including the creation and management of the R&D plan
• Responsible and accountable for restaurants R&D initiatives and innovations, including the creation and management of the R&D plan, this will include CTR and KPI development and management, manpower plans and overall scheduling.
• Support the supply chain through the development and/or localization of alternative and sustainable food and packaging materials for the new and existing products
• Propose, develop, and implement new product development/launches as required by the business
• Collaborate with R&D regional offices and with related support functions for proper execution of the product related projects in UAE

Requirements

Qualifications:
• 40 years old and below
• Degree/Diploma in Food Technology or Chemistry – Experience in lieu is acceptable
• At least 3 years within the food & restaurant industry primarily within R&D and QA of reputable food manufacturing company
• Experience in meat processing, GMP, HACCP, Food Labelling Requirements
• Significant experience in new product development and improving existing products
• Significant experience with leading R&D initiatives
• Experience of engaging with multi-functional / discipline teams
• Immediate joiners will be prioritized
