Job Description

One position is available for full-time Research Assistant (RA) in the UPAR project "Chaotic and mixing p-adic dynamical systems associated with renormalized groups of lattice models".

Duties of the RA is to conduct research in the area of p-adic dynamical systems. The aim of the project is to develop the computational and algorithmic techniques to compute the several topological characteristics of the p-adic dynamical systems. The appointment will be initially for one year.

The RA will be under the supervision of Prof. Farrukh Mukhamedov from the Department of Mathematical Sciences. The package include a monthly salary of 6000-7000 AED (depending upon qualification and experience), medical insurance and one round trip air ticket.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification

Master degree in Mathematics with specialization in p-adic analysis and dynamical systems

Preferred Qualification

Ph.D. in Mathematics with specialization in Dynamical systems.
