Job Description
Applications are invited for the post of Research Assistant (Graduate Research Assistantship) to join the research project on the application of artificial intelligence in data quality management and clinical decision Support. The project is a collaboration between The Mutaba'ah Study, Institute of Public Health, College of Medicine and Health Sciences, and the College of Information Technology, United Arab Emirates University.

The successful applicant will be a full-time PhD student enrolled in the University's PhD program and will participate in teaching, research, or administrative activities.

Standard Duties of the Post. This successful applicant will develop novel machine algorithms and deep learning algorithms for medical datasets. These algorithms will be tested on datasets from Mutaba'ah Study. This will provide the basis for a doctoral dissertation.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct a specified program of research and scholarship under the supervision and direction of your PhD adviser.
- Complete all coursework, research credits and examinations for the award of a PhD degree.
- Engage in the wider research and scholarly activities of your research group and Institute

Requirements

Preferred Qualification
- Masters

Expected Skills/Rank/Experience
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in machine learning and deep learning.
- Good publication records.
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Expert in relevant programming languages, including python and other deep learning libraries, such as Pytorch/Tensor flow.
