Job description / Role
Research Assistant position is available in the laboratory at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, United Arab Emirates University. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to investigate the role of Parkinson's disease associated genes in mouse model and cellular model. The position is supported by a UAE University Research grant. The funds are made available for one year which can be extended depending upon the productivity.

The ideal candidate should have Bachelor degree in Biological Science.
Expected Skills/Rank/Experience
It is expected that the person is highly motivated, hardworking and can work independently. Good understanding of handling mouse, Cell culture system, experience with basic microscopy, staining techniques (immunohistochemistry), basic biochemistry and molecular biology skills (e.g. Western blotting, cloning, PCR) are required.
