Job Description
- Exciting Research Associate position in a funded project on "Plant-based meat analogue" is available for experienced researcher.
- As an enthusiastic early career researcher you will join the Food Science Department at College of Food and Agriculture at UAEU.
- The position requires a dedicated researcher who will be involved in carrying out the research experiments related with the project, student (UG and PG) training and day-to-day maintenance of the laboratory.
- This project is in collaboration with Distinguished Prof. Julian McClements from UMass and Prof. W. ZHOU from National University of Singapore.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification
- MSc/PhD in Food Science and Technology or relevant discipline

Preferred Qualification
- PhD in Food Technology with experience working on plant proteins, their extraction, characterization, and functionality.

Expected Skills/Rank/Experience
- This position will suit a food technologist with previous research experience on "plant proteins: Isolation, characterization, and functionality".
- Direct research experience on Plant-based meat analogue will be highly preferred.
- Skills related with processing technology of plant based proteins are desired for this position.
- Excellent manuscript writing skills is highly expected.
