Job description / Role
To provide comprehensive research support on legal & governance matters and on legal risk assessment functions through conducting research and benchmark with market best practices, local, federal and international level standards governing principles of Dubai.
Accountabilities includes:
• Advocacy & Lobbying
• Build and maintain knowledge bases
• Legal Research
• Transaction Control
• Project Support and Coordination
Requirements
Minimum Qualification:
• Graduate in any discipline, preferably Degree in law
• Bilingual
Minimum Experience:
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a legal role with experience in corporate and commercial legal practice and research function.
Job Specific Skills:
• Knowledge of UAE Ministry of labor/courts Procedures, resolving labor disputes
• Excellent English/Arabic language and communication skills, particularly writing skills
• Knowledge of local and free zone laws, rules and regulations in the region
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to build and manage relationships
• Research tools and techniques
• Problem solving skills, Flexibility to react quickly to changing priorities.
• Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office with advanced presentation skills
• Extensive experience and proven track record in leading teams/working groups, and in managing external stakeholders
