Job description / Role
My client, an Architectural & Engineering Consultancy currently has a requirement for a Resident Engineer to be based in Dubai.
The ideal Resident Engineer will have between 10 to 15 years experience, and currently be located in the UAE. Responsibilities include managing a team of site architects and engineers, monitoring and reporting on the Contractor’s progress of work, conducting inspections if required, and administering the contract according to FIDIC requirements.
Requirements
A Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering is required, and additional training with Project Management and FIDIC are a plus.
Must be familiar with local and international building codes, and Estidama requirements. Due to daily contact with the Owner and Contractor, strong written and oral communication skills are required.
Preference given to English and Arabic speaking candidates
