Charterhouse is working with an established restaurant group who is looking to hire a Restaurant General Manager for their soon to open, a brand new upscale venue. As Restaurant General Manager you will be involved in the developmental process and overall running of the restaurant. Are you that passionate Restaurant General Manager with a wealth of experience within Mediterranean cuisine?
You will take overall responsibility for the location – restaurant, bar and lounge. You will be a strong proficient leader overseeing a team of 100, empowering them to go above and beyond. The Restaurant General Manager will be involved in the concept development, such as the menu generation and hiring the team. Liaising with the corporate team and floor staff will be critical for smooth running of the operation, as well as working closely with vendors and suppliers.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be currently work as a Restaurant Manager or Restaurant General Manager in a known or iconic upscale dining or bar location. They will be an excellent communicator, someone who is calm yet vibrant in any situation, have an outgoing personality and a hands-on approach, being someone who will meet and greet customers, organize table reservations and offer advice about menu and beverage choices whilst overseeing the budgets and marketing plans at the sometime.
