Retail Department Manager

Job description / Role

• To plan, direct and control the activities of the Retail Sales Division sales strategies in accordance with corporate strategies and Balanced Scorecard objectives.
• To ensure that an efficient and effective sales service is provided, and that sales targets are met and profit made.
• To plan and co-ordinate the business plans, objectives and implementation of sales and new projects.
• To ensure that Company plans and objectives are met through adequate management of Retail service station network and corresponding support activities.
• To ensure that problems are dealt with promptly, good customer service is provided at all times, and sales are boosted wherever possible.
• To manage adequate stock levels and makes key decisions to maintain stock control.

Requirements

• Degree in Marketing & Sales or equivalent
• 15 years related experience, including a good knowledge of customers and the local market, a good business background, and experience of financial status evaluation
• International Oil Company Experience
• Excellent communication, supervisory, delegation and influencing skills
• Computer literate, with Windows, E-mail, Internet and Intranet experience
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English and Arabic
