Retail Lease Administration Manager

Client Profile
Our client is a well-renowned retail operator and we are recruiting an experienced Arabic Lease Administration Manager from the UAE mall management industry to join their Abu Dhabi team to be responsible for creating and implementing best practices and processes, identifying and implementing new technology capabilities and managing 3rd party service providers.

The Role
• Responsible for creating a leasing strategy focusing on tenant mix targeting and retain zone effectiveness to expand the retail space portfolio and manage mall leasing administration related to the tenant lease portfolio, collections, disputes, billings, new and renewal lease contracts, expansions and terminations and expansions.
• Prepare leasing and tenant revenue annual budgets and management reports including variance reporting.
• Develop, implement and manage new tools, frameworks and processes to improve the leasing function and portfolio management.
• Develop and maintain an accurate database of potential and waiting list tenants and proactively communicate leasing opportunities with them and maintain the accuracy and integrity of the leasing database.

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience Required
• 8 – 10 years UAE mall management or retail lease administration and tenant management with a strong background in UAE and Abu Dhabi commercial and retail lease laws and regulations.
• Strong understanding of tenant retail shop fit outs.
• Proficient use of Lucernex / Accruent or Yardi.

Education
• Bachelor Degree is mandatory

Candidate Profile
• Currently living in the United Arab Emirates and able to live in Abu Dhabi.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills with the ability to effectively present information and liaise with tenants, tenants’ representatives and vendors.
• Fluent in English and Arabic – must be able to read, write and speak fluent English and Arabic.
