Employment: Full Time

We have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Leasing Administrator who will be responsible for developing and implementing the leasing strategy for the Leasing Department (Retail and Commercial) in order to sustain and expand market share, ensuring viability of the business and effectively contributing to meeting the company's overall objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
• Planning: Assisting the Senior/ Leasing Managers to prepare and implement leasing plans and strategies so as to exploit the current market demand and generate future demand for the Retail and Commercial Leasing business in order to achieve or exceed projected units and revenue target.
• Market Intelligence: Assisting the Senior/Leasing Managers in undertaking research of the market in terms of current demand, customer preference, types, size, and location of the properties. Including organising site visits and information correlation.
• Targeting Prospective Customer: Assisting the Senior/ Leasing Managers on preparing a target list of prospective tenants, local and international, suitable for the type of properties available for leasing. Assists in preparing company profiles and information correlation.
• Viewings & Presentations: Assisting the Senior/ Leasing Managers in preparing for prospective tenants by way of presentations, videos, drawings, models etc or on site viewings in order to generate interest in the property and work towards sales closure to meet revenue targets.
• Term Negotiation: Assisting the Senior/Leasing Managers and drafting the lease negotiation documentation in line with prevailing SOP's, Budgets, DOA's and any other conditions required by the business.
• Arranging Documentation: Assisting the Senior/Leasing Managers in drafting hardcopy correspondence and documentation in accordance with the SOP (LAF/LCA, Lease Contract etc.) and ensuring documents are signed by the authorized person as per the DOA in order to avoid any litigation in future and to serve as a point of reference. Maintain awareness of local legal procedures and practices, ensuring that these are upheld and/or not contradicted in lease terms.
• Asset/Property Management: Assisting the Senior/Leasing Managers in drafting all hardcopy correspondence and documentation with regard to the lease agreements that are to be renewed or re-geared, as above.
• Progress Reports: Assisting the Senior/ Leasing Managers in the preparation of the progress reports on weekly/monthly/annual basis as appropriate, on the current status of the business; comments on assessment of future market trends and prospects and propose measures and strategies to achieve or exceed the projected target
• Budgeting: Assists the Senior/ Leasing Managers on the preparation of the supporting documentation for Budget, Budget Review and Forecasting.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent level of education in any discipline preferable but not mandatory, dependent on previous experience and aptitude.
• Minimum Experience: 3 years as a Leasing Professional
• Sound knowledge of Leasing procedure and practices in local market
