Retail Marketing Manager - Multinational Cosmetic Brand - Preferably Arabic speaking

Luxury Cosmetic client is looking for an Arabic speaking "Retail Marketing Manager", assisting the Head of Marketing Manager in deploying the brand strategy to generate traffic in store, increase average baskets and customer frequency. The candidate is responsible for setting up the store animation action plan and build customer knowledge in order to improve store profitability. He/She is responsible for making sure that the human capital in his/her area are aligned on strategy, ensuring excellence of marketing performance.

Some of the Main responsibilities are:
- Drives traffic to store & improves store profitability by creating operational in-store action plans to increase customer acquisition, retention, satisfaction, cross sell & up sell sales and services
- Sets with Head Of Marketing & Implements marketing strategies & action plan to improve brand’s performance
- Is responsible for consumer knowledge, segmentation and lifecycle by country/city/store
- Supervises the execution of the marketing action plan of the local markets & analyzes results (Store events, direct marketing, promotions…)
- Optimizes service with the GO PRO team & in-store experience
- Defines action plan per store
- Monitors Store KPI’s
- Reports to Head Of Marketing
- Plans & eventually launches the CRM & Loyalty program

- Uses their understanding of KPIs to set realistic but stretching targets for the team and drive behavior change in the organization, where needed.

- Focuses the performance reviews on action and solutions not blame and finger-pointing

- Creates an environment receptive to new ideas and challenges the team to consider new approaches that have the potential to step change business performance.
- Ensures the organization draw learning from innovation successes and failures equally

Brand and Category Strategy
- Applies in depth knowledge of market dynamics, consumer & shopper insights and brand strength & weaknesses to break down the overall brand ambition into specific, measurable objectives with quantified financial goals.

Integrated Brand Communication
- Understands the target consumer, the different media choices and is able to contribute to insightful consumer and shopper touch point ideas.
- Has knowledge of the main principles that determine communication effectiveness. (impact, branding, message)

Requirements

The ideal candidate has 5 to 7 years of retail experience; cosmetics industry is a plus Marketing of global brands in FMCG, Luxury, B to B, Brand development, Digital marketing, Retail Marketing, ideally for multiple networks and multiple markets

Education: a University Degree in Business or Marketing

- Ensures that the CRM initiatives are well established & managed in an integrated manner and with a clear view to establish a targeted personal relationship particularly focused on high value customers all the way to clienteling.

- Sets clear priorities between different activities.
- Challenges plans and budgets to create maximum through-the-line effectiveness, whilst delivering best possible ROI.
- Holds a very close relationship with the retail team to develop a passionately local mindset whilst retaining overall strategic focus and helps to mediate regional and local conflicts.
- Is able to balance the short-term pressures and long term ambitions and make difficult decisions in their tradeoffs.
- Stops any activity in the business that will ultimately harm the long term ambitions.
- Champions excellent implementation guidelines in the business and sets high benchmarks through best practice sharing.

Excellent in store execution
- Works with store and support staff to generate enthusiasm and passion for the brand and excellent implementation.
- Reviews success in the business and local markets and extracts learning and effective processes that can be replicated across the business.
- Creates and cultivates strong relationships with local stakeholders and suppliers.
- Uses the relationships to better understand the trends and developments in local markets
