Job description / Role
One of the fastest growing, exciting, food trading and distribution businesses based in Dubai is currently seeking a sales person with experience in selling to leading Retail customers in the UAE Market and surrounding GCC countries, to join its highly experienced international team.
The role will primarily involve you utilising your existing, extensive customer network to further develop business partnerships with the UAEs leading retail food & beverage customers; driving the profile and sales of some of the world’s leading food brands.
This role is relevant to experienced, hungry, dynamic individuals looking for that next exciting role. You must be well presented, able to think on your feet, and relentless in your pursuit of incremental sales.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Acquire new accounts, across a broad range of categories, including all leading UAE Retail outlets
- Maintain and grow existing accounts through regular client visits
- Achieve targeted sales volume, revenue and profitability goals for the assigned territories
- Able to sell and build strong relationships with all levels of business stakeholders
- Follow sales structure from identifying client need through to closing the sale
- Provide market leading customer service
- Monitor and report on competitive activity
- Effective pipeline management and accurate forecasting in line with company requirements
- Analyse sales trends in customer accounts, and develop strategies to maximise sales
- Collaborate with other areas in the business, and communicate effectively including procurement and marketing
Requirements
Minimum 5 years selling experience within the UAE Retail food industry
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver results
- Excellent presentation
- Organised and articulate
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Computer skills
- Valid UAE driver's license
- Existing extensive network of Retail customers
